2. High-Fat Foods

Foods that are high in saturated fat can be one of the reasons for your belly bloat. This is because high-fat foods take quite longer in your GI tract that can result in bloating. So, better take in moderation when you are eating baked goods, processed meats, and cheese.

 3. Dairy Products

Dairy foods are difficult to digest. People who have lactose intolerance are highly getting belly bloat when they consume dairy foods. Dairy is milk sugar and it’s high in lactose which is linked to bloating.

 4. Apples

Apples are high in fructose, and too much fructose can cause bloating. The high fiber content in apples may also be difficult for some people to digest. But we all know we can’t cut off apples because of how nutritious it is, so always take them in moderation to avoid belly bloat.

5. Beans & Legumes

Legumes, such as beans and lentils, can cause bloating because of their fiber content. It also contains a protective coating called phytic acid which prevents us from digesting and absorbing essential vitamins and minerals.

6. Cruciferous Vegetables

Anything in excess is not good even if it’s the healthiest food. Consuming a large number of cruciferous vegetables can cause excess gas to build up. Cruciferous veggies include broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, kale, arugula, and Brussels sprouts
